Need to capture surface water with a catch basin or low-profile adapter that sits deep in the ground? We got you. The 8 in. Riser adds up to 8 in. of height, can be cut to size, and eliminates the hassle of regrading elevations or awkward piping. It fits securely on top of an 18 in. Square Catch Basin or 18 in. Low-Profile Adapter. The catch basin extension is made of high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) treated with UV inhibitors, and features structural ribs for durability.
Applications
- Adds up to 8 in. of height to an 18 in. catch basin that sits deeper underground; enables catch basin to collect stormwater from the surface and direct to drain pipes before it causes costly property damage
- Use with an 18 in. catch basin drain and 18 in. square catch basin grate to drain heavy flows from lawns, landscaped areas, parks, driveways, and courtyards
- For use with the catch basin and grate to capture surface water; as part of a complete drainage system, the catch basin connects to drain pipes to direct water away for proper release downstream
