The 12 in. Square Hinged Duracast™ Grate protects the pipeline by preventing leaves, branches, and other debris from entering and potentially clogging drain pipes, and is built tough to stand up to the elements. The drain grate has an H-20 load rating and is ideal for draining heavy flows on parking lots, driveways, plazas, courtyards, lawns, and landscaped areas. The 12 in. Square Drain Grate is hinged for easy access into the pipe, and fits on 12 in. sewer and drain pipe and single-wall corrugated pipe. Made of heavy-duty cast iron, the drain cover will rust over time and form a protective iron-oxide patina that’s red-orange and ages to a deep, rich brown. NDS iron grates are lightly painted black for shipping and storage purposes only to inhibit rust formation.
