Also known as a drain cover, the ductile iron grates are painted black to inhibit rust and over time form a protective iron-oxide patina. Grate has an open surface area of 20.85 sq. in. per linear ft. and flow rate of 63.78 GPM per linear ft. Rated for NDS Class C Loads (up to 325 PSI) when properly installed; rated for NDS Class D loads (up to 575 PSI) and H-20 rated when properly installed with the Ductile Iron Frame (DS-200H); ADA compliant.
