Essential to every drainage system is a point of release to prevent back-up issues. Use the Pop-Up Drainage Emitter to safely discharge collected water away from structures, erosion-prone landscapes, and poor drainage areas. The Pop-Up Drainage Emitter with Elbow and Adapter connects to 6 in. drain pipes. When water pressure builds, the cover “pops up” as high as 1 in. to release water at up to 88 GPM. Cover closes automatically once the flow diminishes. Cover is made of polyethylene and the elbow is made of polyvinyl chloride.

Applications
  • Provides a downstream point of release for water collected upstream
  • Install the Pop-Up Drainage Emitter at the lowest point in the drainage system; place in areas away from buildings, landscapes, and poor drainage areas
  • Works with a complete drainage system to release collected stormwater runoff and standing water to a discharge point before it causes costly property damage
Features
  • Spring-loaded cap on cover pops up as high as 1 in. once water pressure builds; automatically retracts when flow diminishes
  • Outside flange prevents grass from growing over the cover
  • Small weep hole in elbow drains out any water in the pipe to prevent stagnation or freezing in cold weather
