The Callaway Crabapple is a vigorous heavy producing variety that produces fruit similar to Dolgo in size. They appear to fall earlier than Dolgo. Good choice for deer.
This flowering beauty is prized for its rounded shape, lovely white blossoms, and bright red crabapples. While loved by birds, the fruit is also enjoyed by people and often used for jellies. The Callaway variety makes a great choice for southern landscapes, as it is highly disease-resistant and has low chill hour requirements.
