Gold Mop Cypress

One of the most impressive and eye-catching plants in our gardens, 'Crippsii' is a bright gold form of the False Cypress or Hinoki Cypress that adds both exciting texture and stunning color in the landscape. Often used as a colorful specimen, Crippsii grows faster than many other false cypress varieties reaching a height of 30 to 40 feet and 15 to 20 feet wide over time. As with other Hinoki Cypress, the tree has an upright pyramidal form with twisting branches forming forming sprays of pendulous, feathery, golden yellow foliage.
