Dooley Hydrangea produces large mopheads of rich blue or pink, depending on soil pH. This is a vigorous growing, exceptionally cold hardy Big Leaf Hydrangea introduced by Dr. Michael Dirr. Hydrangeas are easy to grow deciduous shrubs that prefer partly shaded areas of the garden with a rich, moist but not wet, soil.
