Intercept sediments and other debris in stormwater runoff that can potentially harm the local ecology by using SedimenTrap™ sediment capture devices with the StormChamber® stormwater system. This patented filtration system works as a pre-treatment unit but at a fraction of the cost. Recommended use (at a minimum) is placement of one SedimenTrap device in the first chamber and one device in the final chamber or row. The first trap will capture most of the sediments, and any debris that escapes will inevitably be trapped in the second device. SedimenTrap devices are easy to inspect and maintain, and cleaning is done by air vacuuming rather than jet cleaning, saving water and cost.

Applications
  • Patented filtration system intercepts sediments that enter the StormChamber® stormwater management system
  • The first SedimenTrap™ device is placed in the first chamber of the StormChamber® system and the second trap is placed the final chamber or row
  • As part of a complete stormwater management system, the SedimenTrap™ devices work with the StormChamber® system to intercept sediments and other debris in stormwater runoff
