Extremely showy and one of the first shrubs to bloom in spring, Spring Glory Forsythia, also commonly called yellow bells, is a deciduous flowering shrub that puts on a spectacular show of color in late winter to very early spring when its bare branches become literally smothered in bright lemon yellow flowers. Budded branches are excellent for cutting and forcing indoors. The willowy green foliage emerges after the bloom cycle and is attractive throughout the season, turning yellow in fall.
