With its profusion of large, pompom-like double yellow flowers Japanese Kerria is joy to own in April through May when show begins. Also known as Japanese Rose, Easter Rose, and Yellow Rose of Texas.

Morphology:
This is a deciduous shrub that grows to 10’ in height and the same in width.

It has a spreading nature over time. The long erect stems bear bright green leaves having sharply toothed margins.

'Pleniflora' is a very vigorous grower and bears large, fluffy yellow flowers in spring. Flowers can grow up to 2" across, but typically they are 1” across. Leaves are sharply toothed and bright green
