Red to burgundy new growth with vibrant rose pink spring and fall blooms, and a more compact habit than other taller growing varieties, make Ruby Loropetalum one of the top choices for the landscape. It is referred to as the Chinese Fringe Flower or Chang's Ruby and the foliage provides a stunning contrast with its spider-like pink flowers. Mature height is about 4 to 6 feet with an equal spread, depending on pruning. It can be pruned or sheared year-round for a more formal shape or to limit size. Green foliage is more mature and newer growth is purple.  Give your landscape a pop of color with this variety of loropetalum.
