Tree Trunk Protector by NDS, 8" tall (#TP-128).
Protects young trees from lawnmower and weed whacker damage. Expands automatically as trunk thickens.

Used around the base of trees to prevent damage from lawnmowers, edgers, and string trimmers. The coiled shape allows it to expand with growth of the tree. It is vented, which permits the tree to breathe and it is notched at the base to accommodate root flare. NDS Trunk Protector is colored to help it blend with the natural shade of the tree. Each unit fits up to a 4 inch caliper tree; multiple units may be used for larger trees.

Each of these heavy-duty 8" tall Tree Trunk Protectors will provide security on trunk calipers of up to 4". For more mature trees, two or more trunk protectors can be used together. Low density polyethylene with UV inhibitors to insure longevity. 8" High x 12" Wide x .05" Thick Slotted Vents to permit tree to breathe Notched bottom edge to allow for root flare

How To Use Tips
Use on any tree planted in lawn or brush areas where mowing or trimming equipment may cause contact with tree trunks.
