This coil did not work on the B&S 595291 machine. To double check whether I'd hooked up wrong, I put my old coil which shut down when the motor warmed up, back onto the machine and it started on the first pull (I didn't leave it on long enough for the warm engine to stop it), so I know the machine and gap settings work. The coil wire does have a strange bump on it, so perhaps this one is defective, but if the company will let me return it, I will. By the way, I didn't select a start because working with Master Landscape Supply was positive and straightforward. I just didn't get a good end result.
