Rabbiteye Blueberry 'Powder Blue' (Vaccinium ashei)

An excellent blueberry variety for hot, humid climates. ‘Powder Blue’ is hybridized from a blueberry species native to the warm regions of the southern U.S. Enjoy medium to large, light blue berries from mid to late season. Well-drained soil is essential for good performance. Plants won’t tolerate dense clay or water-logged soil.

Uses

Best used in groups to insure good pollination. The berries are delicious in pies, tarts, jams, and preserves. The perfect addition to any fresh fruit tray.
